After the Auction
When you have received the objects you wanted and paid for them, you may take them with you and/or stay a bit longer to look over the objects which were not sold in the auction. Who knows? Maybe you’ll find a nice piece that’s right for you!
Collecting Your Goods
The objects you have paid for may be collected during and after the auction. We are as helpful as we can be with packing them during the auction period. In the case of heavy objects, such as furniture, please bring helpers with you. Pianos, safes and other heavy objects have to be taken away by a special transport company. Alternatively, we can arrange for a transport company to collect them for you at your expense.
We would also be glad to mail you the objects you have won at auction as packages. Please inform us of your requirements. Alternatively, we can bill you for the additional costs. Please bear in mind that shipment in packages is not a suitable means of transport for certain types of objects, such as, large sets of china, unwieldy pictures, and heavy stone objects. The costs for shipping packages comprise postage, packaging materials and labor. At your request we can have the packages insured at a higher value. Shipment is at your expense and risk. Upon agreement with you, we can hire a transport company for unwieldy objects at your expense.
Objects that are not sold at auction are offered in post-auction sales. Just come to our exhibition rooms during our opening hours and place your orders. The current post-auction offers can be viewed online. You can also contact us in writing or by telephone. The sales price is the seller’s limit price plus the normal buyer’s premium.
